Joseph M. Procida, SVP

As Senior Vice President in charge of Site Operations, Mr. Procida directs all phases of the on site construction process from start to finish. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Procida has the served the firm as a site superintendent, project manager, and project executive on gut rehabilitation projects, new mid rise construction projects as well as commercial office spaces, stores and medical facilities.

Mr. Procida joined Procida Construction Corp. in 1988 as an assistant site superintendent. His first 5 years with the firm was spent on gut rehabilitation projects located in the South Bronx for HPD. In 1993 Mr. Procida was promoted to superintendent, where he oversaw the construction of the Davide Cenci clothing store on Madison Avenue, and subsequently the building of the DOME project on west 84th street, a 6 story new residential project for NYCHA. In 1998 Mr. Procida was promoted to Project Manager in charge of projects such as Housing Works, an 8 story new construction residential / medical treatment facility located on the lower east side as well as numerous rehabilitation projects. Currently Mr. Procida serves the firm in all construction related activities on a multitude of projects.

Mr. Procida graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to New York University to receive his masters degree in Building and Construction Management. Mr. Procida was a recipient of the Albert Einstein College Humanitarian Award, and has sat on the board of directors of the Boys and girls club. Mr Procida is actively involved in his community and has done volunteer work with both DARE , and his local youth recreation department.
